What to expect?
We’ll gently introduce your dog to the treadmill with lots of encouragement and positive reinforcement. We’ll adjust speed and incline based on your dog’s fitness level, goals, and physical limitations. Includes warm-up, walking or trotting, and cool-down. Session includes observational gait analysis to rule out or identify any underlying problems.
Advanced Gait Analysis
Who’s it for?
- Dogs showing signs of limping, stiffness, uneven movement or poor performance
- Dogs post-surgery or post-injury and undergoing physiotherapy
- Working or performance dogs needing peak efficiency
What to expect?
We’ll use a combination of our bespoke gait corridor for video capture, and our state-of-the-art instrumented canine treadmill (Zebris Canidgait) with pressure-sensitive technology to analyse your dog’s gait in detail. This allows us to spot asymmetries, compensations, or subtle movement issues that might otherwise go unnoticed. The results inform treatment plans, rehabilitation programs and conditioning work, giving your dog the best chance to move comfortably and confidently.
*This is a more in-depth gait analysis than that in the Pawra Wellness Discovery session
